Day 8 - Monument Valley

Another update of my photo diary from my road trip across the USA. I'm travelling East and seen some breath-taking places over the past few days.

After Zion National Park, I travelled to Horseshoe bend in Arizona, where the Colarado River has carved some beautiful scenery. Following this, I visited one of the most beautiful places America has to offer: the Grand Canyon. I was lucky enough to have a helicopter tour of the Canyon and I cannot put into words how spectacular the views were and how much I enjoyed the whole experience. Pictures just do not do this place justice! Its been a very hot week, so my uniform has been shorts and vests. I especially love the rope-back top I picked up from F21 a while back- perfect for the heat. Another highlight was watching the sunrise and sunset over the Grand Canyon, so beautiful! 

I've just left Monument Valley and am now heading to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Monument Valley is such an awesome place, inhabited by the Navajo tribe. The area is full of beautiful scenery and great stories.
