Brooklyn

Weekends in New York are just made for exploring. So it'd be rude not to take a short trip over the river to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Perhaps considered the Shoreditch of London, Williamsburg is a haven of quirky vintage shops, food markets and of course incredible views of Manhattan. A favourite for vintage shopping has to be the Artist's Flea Market where I bought a lovely little floral dress and a few bits of jewellery. When the time came around for a bite to eat, my friends and I stumbled across a huge food market with far too much choice! Lunch was a delicious treat of Moroccan chicken and herb brioche with mango lemonade (a must!) followed by homemade vanilla ice-cream.
In the late September sun (perhaps the last we'll see for this year) I wore my much loved Topshop white midi skirt (similar here) paired with one of my favourite buys of the summer: my New Look embroidered cami top (similar here). The bright sunshine also gave me a chance to try out my new ASOS Cat Eye Sunglasses, which were a bargain at only £10! The light colours and chunky sunglasses made for an easy outfit for a stroll along the riverside and across the Brooklyn Bridge. We were lucky enough to catch the sun setting as we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. Although it was super busy, it really was a magical moment and I'd really recommend a visit!
I certainly can't wait to return to Brooklyn and I'm sure I'll be documenting more of my adventures from over the river very soon!
