I've never considered myself much of a "girly girl". Although my outfit posts over the last few years might tell a different story (see pink floral dress and feminine flowy skirts), I like to think I'm more of a smart chick one day then a tough tomboy the next. But my friends tell me different and have in the past been labelled 'the girliest girl' that they know. This full skirt by Lucy Paris kinda makes me feel I'm playing dress up but I also LOVE the femininity of this look and how it makes me feels so lady-like! Lucy Paris are a brand I first discovered whilst interning at Nylon Magazine in New York late last year. I wore an amazing sequin crop top and printed midi skirt by the brand when shooting for Nylon Magazine Online back in December.
I'm a strong believer in wearing more masculine structured accessories to balance out feminine pieces in an outfit. Here, I've opted for black leather with silver hardware for both my shoes and my bag which unintentionally match very well together. Make-up wise I've kept my look very minimal with a strong brow and nude lip.
