Trench coats are everywhere at the moment and I couldn't resist jumping on board with the trend once I saw this gorgeous Missguided version. Its khaki, its faux suede and its a great length - what's not to love? The trench is an iconic piece of British fashion and oozes tomboy charm, but I was keen to feminise the look with a mini dress and a pair of peep-toe boots. By sticking to a neutral colour palette, the khaki really stands out and makes this outfit all about the outerwear.
These shots were taken when I was home last week in North Yorkshire. Shout out to my neighbours for having a wonderfully green garden and beautiful flowers surrounding their house - a dream backdrop!
Now I'm back in London and have moved into my new house, I've got a lot of new content queuing up to come your way. I'm still waiting to get internet at my new place (the 21st century struggle is so so real) so currently have to spend my hours in local coffee shops to get blog work done! I'm keen to try to post 2-3 times per week once my internet is sorted and before I get into the headache of final year of uni! Watch this space!
PS - I'm using my Snapchat a lot more these days - make sure to give me a cheeky add for a little more insight into my everyday life! Username: barleycorn
