Embracing the dark lips has really been a game changer for my style lately, to the point where I begin to plan and revolve my outfits around a deep brown or berry shade. This interesting vampy lip colour is one my Secret Santa picked out for me (thanks Georgia!) and is the shade Viva Glam ||| by MAC. I've had lots of compliments on it, plus I really love wearing a lip colour that is a little different and one that I wouldn't necessarily pick out myself.
I think the key to styling a dark lip colour is to play around and have fun with it. I generally like to go for pieces with a bit more of an edge or a grungy vibe like this patent brown snakeskin skin. The texture is amazing and fits like a dreeeeaaam. Plus, this chevron high neck top (shocker - always in a high neck) is one I picked up in the Topshop post-Christmas sales is a nice jazzy extra to make up the outfit. I threw my classic leopard print coat and fur stole over the top - because boy, is it chilly lately!
