So unless you've been living under a rock over the past few days (or maybe just don't follow any bloggers on social media) you'd know that London has been taken over by the biannual buzz of Fashion Week. A time where everyone who is anyone in the fashion biz (designers, editors, photographers, models, bloggers etc) get together and roam the streets of central London running on caffeine courtesy of Starbucks, wearing outfits that are a little more daring than for everyday wear and complaining about how tiring it is running between fashion shows. But seriously... it's a hard life and I'm kinda freaking exhausted....
My Friday kicked off at the Kurt Geiger press launch for their new collection with Karlie Kloss. It was a great opportunity to see the range and chat over breakfast with some of my fave blogging gal pals. Next, I headed to Fashion Scout to see the showcase of a number of emerging designers at work before heading to shoot some outfit pictures in Soho.
So let's talk about my outfit for day 1 at LFW. Having been invited down to Hackney to visit the The White Pepper studio early in the week, I was excited to have some fun new pieces in my wardrobe and this pom pom jumper just had to have its time to shine. Bright red in colour, ribbed and adorned in balls of fluff, I knew I needed it in my life! If you're not familiar with The White Pepper already... - catch up! They're an awesome East London brand making waves on ASOS and in Topshop Oxford Circus with their vintage-inspired, standout pieces with a funky twist. I think all I need now is for this jumper to be made in black and cream and it'd never leave my body! For the rest of my look, its a case of another day, another pair of culottes. I do not exaggerate when I say I wore culottes every single day of last week! They're certainly my go-to trouser lately as too it has been a little chilly for skirts and a refreshing change from the same-old jeans.
Stay tuned for more on LFW coming very soon!
