I've spoken before about my love for dressing down traditional going out out pieces with t-shirts and roll necks, but right now it's mega and I'm finding myself reaching for sequins, velvet and metallics for day-to-day styling. And when I get asked what I'm so dress up for?? LIFE honey, LIFE.

This dress is another Urban Outfitters number which comes in a fabulous teal shade too! Dresses like these are perfect for this time of year and pulling off that day-to-night look as the Christmas festivities are begin!

I'm writing this post from home whilst snuggled up in multiple layers and a blanket as I've been feeling a little under the weather this week. It's pretty damn difficult to avoid getting ill when it feels like -10 outside and you're on the tube with people coughing all over you... I don't help myself though and I'm the worst for not giving in to being ill and carrying on as normal anyway! I should really learn!
