It's been a little while since I've shared an outfit post over here. Don't get me wrong, I definitely haven't fallen out of love with fashion. Styling gives me confidence and empowerment but the bit I seem to fail at is being productive as I'd like to be in terms of sharing, writing and snapping. But let's not make the new year about excuses, I'm going to try my best to prioritise blogging a lot more whilst juggling full-time work - but often that means FOMO!
Back to the outfit itself... this dress is something I picked up in the Urban Outfitters sale over Christmas time and I've srsly worn it so much since. Although its a basic slip, the beautiful deep navy colour really brings it to life and the plisse fabric which has been all over the high street this season adds an interesting texture. I'm continuing to love layering dresses over t-shirts, roll-necks, jumpers or pretty much anything I can to add a new dimension to the look - plus another layer of warmth!
And another thing? I'm reaching for my trainers more and more lately. Not only are they super comfy, but the dressed down "I haven't made an effort" look is right up my street and balances out the glamour of the fur coat and slip dress perfectly.
